Between July 10–12, 2026, Bila 2 Lake hosted the 15th edition of the Augsburg Cup, a competition that once again brought together sport fishing enthusiasts for an event that has become a true tradition. Held over the course of three days, the tournament offered participants the opportunity to showcase their experience, strategy, and competitive spirit in an environment built around performance and fair play.
The competition took place across 26 pontoon fishing stands, divided into four competition sectors. Teams competed based on both the quantity and the quality of their catches, with separate rankings established for each category. The final standings were determined by combining the points earned in both classifications.
The event began on Friday morning with competitor registration and the draw for fishing stands, followed by the official start of the competition. After two days of intense fishing, the tournament concluded on Sunday at 12:00 PM, with the official award ceremony taking place later that day at 1:00 PM.
This year’s edition delivered impressive results. A total of 608 fish were caught, with a combined weight of 3,472.145 kg and an average catch weight of 5.711 kg. The biggest fish of the competition weighed 15.9 kg and was caught by Team Augsburg 4, marking one of the standout achievements of this edition.
For Augsburg, the Augsburg Cup is much more than a fishing competition. It is an event that promotes a passion for sport fishing, respect for nature, and team spirit while bringing together, year after year, a community united by the same values.
