On June 26, 2025, Augsburg International hosted a hands-on technical training in Bucharest, focused on the application and best practices for using TotalEnergies products. The course was led by expert trainer Sergiu Ason and took place at Marshal Garden Hotel – Ametist Hall.
The event brought together service professionals for a comprehensive session covering real-world scenarios, updated industry standards, and actionable insights. Key topics included:
- How to choose the right lubricant: synthetic, semi-synthetic, or mineral; and how viscosity (e.g., 0W-20, 5W-30) affects engine wear
- GL-4 vs GL-5 differences and the appropriate fluids for automatic transmissions (ATF, CVT, DSG, DCT)
- Proper interpretation of ACEA & API standards and the role of lubricants in DPF, SCR, and AdBlue systems
- Vital fluids: brake fluid, antifreeze, and greases – common mistakes and technical recommendations
- Fluids for electric vehicles, quick maintenance solutions, and predictive oil diagnostics via ANAC
