On April 8th and 9th, 2025, Augsburg International organized two technical training sessions for automotive professionals in the cities of Iași and Suceava, in collaboration with Pierburg. The sessions were led by the experienced trainer, Liviu Săceleanu, and focused on the topic “EGR Valve – Challenges and Solutions.”
What did this training offer?
Throughout the training sessions, participants had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the role and functioning of the EGR valve — a critical component for reducing emissions and optimizing engine performance. The sessions combined theoretical content with practical examples and case studies. Topics covered included:
- Operating principle of the EGR valve: How it contributes to exhaust gas recirculation and reduces pollution.
- Types of EGR systems available on the market: Differences and specific features of each variant.
- Common faults and how to identify them: Key signs of a failing EGR valve.
- Effective maintenance and diagnostic solutions: Practical tips for resolving EGR-related issues in auto repair shops.
Participant experience
The events were divided into two main parts, with a dinner break in between, offering participants the chance to connect, share insights, and network with fellow industry professionals. The atmosphere was open and engaging, and attendees appreciated the opportunity to ask direct questions and receive answers from an expert in the field.
In Iași, the training took place on April 8th at Hotel Pleiada, and the following day, on April 9th, we welcomed participants in Suceava, at the elegant Amphitheater Hall of Conacul Domnesc.
